Here are a couple of Children's Book illustrations I've been working on recently. I draw a lot of inspiration from my own childhood (if you haven't noticed). When I was little my family lived in Switzerland in a farmhouse with a variety of animals. I attribute my love of animals to this because I used to wander around the grounds and make friends with the cows, sheep and goats. I think this is why I never wanted to eat meat (and still can't!). I like the idea of teaching kids to appreciate and love the environment through books or apps. Let me know what you think!
Ipad case designs at Keka - 30% off /
I'm excited to announce that Keka Case now has ipad cases featuring my designs! I haven't ordered one yet, I'm still trying to decide which one I like best. I did order a phone case and I love it. It is sturdy (which is important because I am constantly dropping my phone!) with beautiful color. I'm sure that the Ipad cases are the same great quality.

Right now you can get 30% off by entering the promo code 30NOW at check out. If you have an ipad air, I'm told that those cases will be available in a couple months.
New Illustration for Illustration Friday /
It's been a while since I've created anything fun for myself, and especially in Photoshop (I've been using Illustrator a lot). Illustration Friday is a weekly online illustration contest and blog. It's a great way to keep up your practice and to do something that inspires you. So here it is. The word for this week is "sizzle".
New Patterns! /
It's been a busy few months here, full of new and exciting things. I had my first solo painting exhibit, signed a new licensing agent and I've already gotten some great new licenses! I've also been getting ready for Surtex (which is the big surface design show in NY). I won't be going this year but my designs will be there, so I've busy creating new patterns. Here is a little preview of one of the collections that I've been working on.
